Let's Talk About Love
Got a real treat for everyone this month: I collaborated with very good bud Cory Palmer on a truly special mixtape. He came to me with the idea of capturing a very specific kind of love. An old love, one where there's comfort in the history but still fire in your present. He keeps it short and sweet below. Perfect. The songs say pretty much anything you'd want to anyways.
Also, Cory tackled the artwork this month, and I adore it. Feels more fitting every listen.
Like the mixtapes? Help me spread the love by throwing a few bucks my way via BuyMeACoffee. Thanks to everyone who has already supported me there. I've covered my Apple Music subscription costs and now I'm working towards upgrading my cassette recording tech so they don't sound like garbage.
And hey, if you like it, why not share the mix or this newsletter with a friend?

A few words from Cory:

May we all be so lucky to one day, a long long time from now, get to look at someone and think “gosh, this sure has been nice.”

Love you all. Hope you enjoy!
Join Me: Support Artists on Bandcamp Friday, 10/7
I've talked about it a million times before in this newsletter, but Bandcamp Friday is one of the coolest initiatives in music, and there's no better time to buy a record from your favorite artist or just take a chance on someone you've never heard of. Bandcamp waive's their normal cut of the purchase, so all that good money goes straight to the artist.
If you're looking for recommendations, Bandcamp has so many good write-ups on their site with exciting releases in a variety of genres, new and notable tunes, and more.
Right now I'm torn between Nikki Lane, Chuck Johnson, Sarah Davachi, and Pastor Champion.

Check out Dissolution Wave's "A Force At Play" (bought this for Bandcamp Friday last month and it rules, great shoegaze).
